When you use the site, our hosting provider (Netlify) may log standard server access data including IP addresses and browser types. We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or cookies beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the service.

We do not use your data or your customers' data to train AI models, run advertising, or sell to third parties.

We have data processing agreements or rely on the service terms of each provider. We do not authorize these providers to use your data for their own purposes beyond what is necessary to provide the service to us.
We retain your contractor profile and proposals for as long as your account is active. Accepted proposals (including acceptance records) are retained for a minimum of 7 years to support potential legal or dispute needs.
If you close your account, we will delete your profile data within 30 days. Accepted proposal records may be retained longer as required by applicable law or legitimate business interest in supporting contractor dispute resolution.
When you use MarketStrings, you are providing your customers' names, email addresses, and job addresses to our Service to create and deliver proposals on your behalf. You represent that you have the right to share this information with us for this purpose.
We process this data only to fulfill the proposal service. We do not contact your customers for any purpose other than delivering the specific proposal you created, and in the case of acceptance, sending them a confirmation receipt.
You are the data controller for your customers' data. If one of your customers asks about their data, you should direct them to contact you, and you may contact us at support@marketstrings.com on their behalf.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will post changes here and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
