MarketStrings ("we," "us," or "the Service") is a software platform that helps contractors create AI-assisted written proposals and deliver them to prospective customers electronically. We are not a licensed contractor, we do not perform any work described in proposals, and we are not a party to any agreement between a contractor and their customer.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction to use MarketStrings. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
The Service is intended for use by licensed contractors and home-service professionals operating lawfully in their jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for holding any required licenses, insurance, or permits for the work described in your proposals.
Access is granted via a one-time magic link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. We associate your profile — company name, phone, license number, bio — with your Stripe customer record. You may update this information at any time from your profile page.
You may not share, sell, or transfer access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts we believe are being used fraudulently or in violation of these terms.
MarketStrings offers two pricing options:
All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@marketstrings.com within 30 days of the charge.
Proposal text is generated by an AI model (Anthropic Claude) based on the job details you provide. You are responsible for reviewing every proposal before sending it to a customer. We do not guarantee that generated text is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.
You must not use the Service to generate proposals that contain false statements, misrepresent the scope of work, inflate pricing deceptively, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
The intellectual property in generated proposals belongs to you. By submitting job details, you grant us a limited license to process and store that content solely to operate the Service.
When a customer clicks "Accept" on a proposal, we record their typed name, the timestamp, IP address, and browser information as acceptance evidence under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act) and applicable state law.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to pricing or these terms by email or notice on the site.
Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT GENERATED PROPOSALS WILL WIN YOU BUSINESS, THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, OR THAT EMAILS WILL BE DELIVERED TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MARKETSTRINGS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Tennessee.
